Police looking for south Cobb robbery suspect

Cobb County Police are asking for the public's help in locating on suspect who they believe robbed two separate stores at gunpoint over a two-week period in south Cobb.
 
According to a release from Sgt. Dana Pierce, the first armed robbery happened on May 13 at the Family Dollar at 1255 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Mableton.
 
Approximately 10 days later, they believe the same suspect robbed a the Rite Aid pharmacy at 4637 Hicks Road in Mableton.
In both incidents, he demanded cash from employees using a gun, was given an unknown amount of cash and ran away on foot in an unknown direction.
 
The suspect, described similarly in both incidents, is about 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighs around 175 pounds and is believed to be in his 20s or 30s.
 
In the first incident, he was wearing a brown or dark yellow Timerland brand sweatshirt, black pants and a black hat. He also had on light colored latex gloves and a mask and armed with a handgun.
 
In the second incident, the suspect was wearing a red shirt and a black mask and was armed with a handgun.
