Cobb Police are investigating an armed robbery they say took place Thursday at about 5:49 a.m. at the Waffle House off Six Flags Drive in Austell.

According to investigators, the suspect entered the restaurant, drew a handgun and demanded the money in the cash drawer.

According to investigators, after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the business in a dark colored Oldsmobile or Cadillac.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his late teens, with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and had a bandana covering his face. He was armed with a silver handgun.
