Police ask for help finding man suspected in robbery

Cobb Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who they say robbed a Marietta gas station at gunpoint Monday morning.

According to a release from the Cobb Police Department, the unidentified man went into the Chevron gas station at 3349 Canton Road at about 7:50 a.m. Monday and using a gun, demanded money from the cashier.

The man, described as an Asian man last seen wearing dark clothing and armed with a semi-automatic pistol, left the scene in an unknown direction after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no pictures or video available of the incident at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
