Police arrest suspect in 2011 murder case

MARIETTA - Cobb County Police have arrested someone in the murder of a 25-year-old Adrian Thomas Coleman who was shot dead in his home on Lantern Ridge Drive off Roswell Road near the 120 Loop Oct. 13, 2011.

Late yesterday afternoon, the Cobb County Police Department’s S.W.A.T. team arrested 21-year-old Desmond Brookins during a traffic stop on Hopkins Road in Powder Springs.



According to the Marietta resident's arrest report, Brookins is charged with felony malice murder and is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond.
