One dead, 2 injured in Marietta shooting

MARIETTA - One person is dead and two others injured after an overnight house party shooting in Marietta.

According to police, the shooting happened at the "Dwell at 750" Apartments on the 700 block of Franklin Road.

Officials say the two men were were shot by a group of uninvited guests who sparked the argument which led to the shooting. It happened just after midnight. Another person was injured however the cause of that person's injuries are unknown, at this time.

Two victims were transported to Kennestone Hospital, one died and the other is expected to recover. No word on the injuries sustained by the other person.

Suspects in this case are still at-large. Marietta Police say they have a number of people in custody, at this time.
