Jack T. Nally age 95 of Smyrna, passed away Friday, April 18. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, April 22 in the Pine Log United Methodist Church cemetery in Pine Log, Georgia. A longtime resident of Cobb County, Mr. Nally served in the US Army during World War II. He worked for the US postal railway service for over 20 years. Mr. Nally later owned and operated Oakdale Ace Hardware for over 50 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #160 and the First Baptist Church of Smyrna. Mr. Nally was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 75 years, Mary M. Nally. He is survived by his daughter Rosemary (Mike) Hardage of Smyrna, son Randy (Debbie) Nally of Smyrna, brother Odell Nally of Rydal, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. There was no way you could get out of his store without hearing one of his stories or a joke. Jack was always a people person.
