Brian D. Renshaw
Renshaw joined Moore Colson in 2007 after working at KPMG LLP as a senior manager, where he spent the majority of his 12-year career in their New Orleans office. During his career at KPMG, he prepared financial statement audits for a number of publicly traded entities and has significant experience in SEC public filings and reporting matters.
Renshaw has a Bachelor of Science in both accounting and business from Centenary College and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Restaurant Association, and is treasurer and board member of LSU Atlanta.
Shawn W. Hardister
Hardister was an owner and partner of Brooks, McGinnis & Company, LLC, CPAs in Atlanta where he managed numerous tax and audit client relationships, expanded the firm’s client base in the nonprofit audit and closely-held company tax niches, and advised clients on accounting, profitability improvement and tax planning and compliance matters. He also taught continuing education classes for the Georgia Society of CPAs and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. His prior experience includes 10 years in health care — physician practice management — in CFO and mergers & acquisitions roles. He began his career with the Raleigh, N. C., office of Price Waterhouse, now PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Hardister attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, concentrating in accounting, with honors. He is a CPA in North Carolina and Georgia, and is also a Certified Financial Planner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards of directors, and currently serves as a director and treasurer of the Atlanta Track Club, and a director and treasurer of the National Down Syndrome Congress.
Pompilio was a senior tax manager with Cherry Bekaert, LLP. He began his career as an intern in the Atlanta office of PricewaterhouseCoopers and was promoted to tax senior prior to leaving. He also spent several years at Bennett Thrasher.
He is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Master of Taxation in 2003, and Oglethorpe University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1999. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Pompilio is a member of the NextWave Society.
