On Nov. 26, four best friends from Marietta High School, Betsy Storey Kelley, Mandy Dark Tucker, Kelly Kovach Good and Paren Clark Archer took time for a cup of Christmas tea. Everyone delighted in carolers and Santa who visited their table in the dining room. The ladies were accompanied by their daughters for what will probably become a lasting tradition each year at the Ritz in Buckhead.

Daughters included Mary Margaret, 9, and Elizabeth Kelley, 7, of Marietta; Emma Kate Tucker, 11, of Marietta; Lucy Good, 7, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Selah Archer, 5, Cartersville.

The Marietta Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association held their annual Country Store Auction and luncheon Nov. 16. The auction is held to raise funds for scholarships that are awarded each year in the month of May. Hazel Lord hosted the event, and the auctioneers were Alice Blalock and Louise Cripps.
