MUST Ministries, a faith-based organization that serves people in need in Cobb and Cherokee counties, is in need of food to replenish its food pantries. MUST gives out 5 tons a food per week, but recently the demand has far exceeded the supplies. Jelly, canned meats, tuna and chicken, pastas, tomato sauces and boxed meals are needed to provide nutrition to neighbors in need and their families.
"Please help - MUST has been so overwhelmed with people in need, that it is nearly out of food," said Annette Lee, resource development coordinator for MUST Ministries.
MUST needs for the community to donate non-perishable food items immediately and take to the Donation Center at 1210-B Kennestone Circle in Marietta or directly to the Canton or Smyrna locations.
For more information on how to volunteer or make a monetary donation to the program, call MUST Ministries at (770) 427-9862 or visit www.mustministries.org.
