Mrs. Sarah G. Moore, age 87, of Woodstock, GA formerly of Smyrna, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Her funeral service will be 2 PM, Saturday, February 23rd in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Pastor George F. Ganey, III officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Moore was employed at Rich’s at Cobb Center & prior to that she was “Rosie the Riveter” at the Bell Bomber Plant in Marietta. She was a troop leader for her son’s Boy Scout troop and a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mrs. Moore is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Ron & Shirley Moore; daughters & sons-in-law, Deborah & Albert Harris, Denise & Mike Keener; sisters, Edith Jenkins, Joyce Morris; brother, Jerry Gordon; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
