Dawn R. Levine of Lyle & Levine LLC in Marietta was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 46,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 7 during the organization’s annual meeting.

Levine will serve in the Cobb Judicial Circuit, Post 5 seat on the board. She earned her law degree from the Emory University Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2006.

Her law practice focuses on estate planning and probate matters and also includes wills, trusts, guardianship and corporate transactions. She also serves as president-elect of the Cobb County Bar Association.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
