Bobby Eugene Lemonds, age 74, of Monroe, died on February 25, 2013. He was born in Walton County on August 23, 1938, to the late Mary White Lemonds and the late Olif Lemonds. He served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, and the Army Reserves from 1959 to 1963. He worked for General Motors for 30 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, the Marietta Masonic Lodge, and the Walton County Helping Hand Club. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janice Ballew Lemonds of Monroe. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Butler officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
