Stacy Lynn Bland Linscott passed away February 8th at her home in Powder Springs, GA. She was born in Akron, Ohio on November 13, 1957, to the late James Bland and Marilyn Emrick Bland of Dallas, GA. Stacy lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania and California. After graduating from Brooks College in Long Beach with a degree in fashion design, she joined her family in North Brunswick, NJ in 1976 where she worked for Yves St. Laurent in New York City. Shortly thereafter she moved south where she shifted her talent to sales and enjoyed a career as architectural design sales representative for over 30 years in Atlanta, GA. Stacy is survived by her son, Taylor Charles Linscott of Powder Springs, her stepdaughter, Krista Linscott of Dallas, TX, her mother Marilyn Bland of Dallas, GA, sister, Lori Mosseller of Dallas, GA, brother Mark Bland of Forston, GA. and brother Jay Bland of Mableton, GA. Also surviving are four nephews and six nieces. Memorial services will be at Dallas First Methodist Church in Dallas, GA. on Friday, February 15th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Humane Society of Cobb County.
