KnightSong nominated for music award

KnightSong, a band based in Marietta, joins nearly exceptional self-released and independent label artists named by Music Resource Group as nominees in the 13th Independent Music Awards.

KnightSong is nominated among an eclectic mix of established artists and artists on the rise for its song “The Briar and the Rose,” from its third album, “Twentig.” The band has released four albums under its own label, which are available for sale or download via iTunes, Amazon and CDbaby, among other sites. KnightSong, a group of eight singers from metro Atlanta and Athens, specializes in performing in performing ancient to contemporary music, both sacred and secular, all a cappella.
