For the fifth straight year, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia ranked highest in member satisfaction in the South Atlantic region, according to the J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Member Health Plan Study released March 10. The South Atlantic region comprises Georgia and the Carolinas.

Scoring 784 points on a 1,000-point scale, Kaiser scored 109 points above the region’s average for overall member satisfaction. Kaiser also received the highest scores for coverage and benefits, cost, provider choice, customer service and information and communication.

Kaiser’s health plans are complemented by health care delivery provided by the multi-specialty Southeast Permanente Medical Group, which includes more than 450 physicians. All Kaiser health care teams are connected through an electronic health record offering Web-based tools via kp.org, giving members access to health information, medical records and tools to communicate with their providers. They can perform tasks online such as scheduling appointments and ordering prescription refills. Users also have 24/7 online access to lab test results, eligibility and benefits information and even their children’s immunization records.

Kaiser Permanente’s Cobb locations are at 3640 Tramore Pointe Parkway in Austell; 2525 Cumberland Parkway in Cumberland; 750 Townpark Lane NW in Kennesaw; and 2505 Dallas Highway and 1205 Johnson Ferry Road, both in Marietta.
