Deepest condolences to all concerned regarding the passing of Mr. Brumby. It has been illuminating to read all the wonderful eulogies written or stated by his many friends and acquaintances at the highest reaches of government and society.

Someone pointed out the huge importance of his keeping a powerful light on the workings of local government in particular, and how that has been so key in Cobb’s remaining free of the sort of corruption and scandal that seems rife in all too many communities across the state and country. I believe with all my heart that to be certain truth. I hope and pray that Mr. Brumby’s quest for honesty and forthrightness in the city and country’s machinations is upheld and propelled for many generations to come. RIP.
