Homeless man accused of biting EMT

Walter David Dewberry, a homeless 59-year-old man, was charged Sept. 12 with two misdemeanors: public intoxication and battery.

Dewberry is accused of public intoxication, cursing at a police officer and at EMT staffer, and biting an EMT of the Metro Ambulance Service.

He is now in Cobb County jail and his bond is $2,500.
