Hines right about need to arm teachers

DEAR EDITOR:

MDJ columnist Roger Hines had one of the better ideas I’ve seen in print lately concerning school safety (“Latest Shooting a Reminder That it’s Time to Arm Teachers,” Dec. 30). Well thought out and truthful. A common sense approach to safety in the schools. We should have more individuals that think like Hines in public office instead of the imbeciles that now are in power. It would seem that none of the gun control politicians ever read or manage to absorb any facts concerning guns.
