The Atlanta Häagen-Dazs Shops will on July 25 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. will donate 50 percent of their total sales to Bert’s Big Adventure, a nonprofit organization that provides children with chronic and terminal illnesses with a five-day, all expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

Local participants are the Cumberland Mall, 1000 Cumberland Mall, and Cumberland Festival Shopping Center, 2980 Cobb Parkway, both locations in the Cumberland area. There will also be donation boxes available for additional contributions.

This is the fourth year that Häagen-Dazs Shops has raised money for Bert’s Big Adventure, and to date, almost $23,000 has been collected — enough to send five kids and their families on a trip of a lifetime.

Bert’s Big Adventure has taken 135 families to Walt Disney World since 2003. In addition to the trip, the organization provides year-round programs that further their mission of supporting connections for these special families.

For more information, call the Cumberland Mall location at (770) 435-2206 or the Cumberland Festival Shopping Center location at (770) 951-2528.
