Mr. Graham Hill age 90 of Marietta passed away Saturday December 3. A funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery. A longtime resident of Cobb County, Mr. Hill retired as a Captain from the U.S. Army with over 20 years of service. He was a member of the Marietta Elks Lodge #1657 where he was the Tyler for 11 ½ years. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife Jessie Wheatcroft of Marietta, daughter Jo Ann Hill Worthan of Villa Rica, stepdaughters Joyce Edwards Chanower of Cumming, Gail Edwards Turner of Acworth, sister Sally Chappell of Louisville, MS, grandchildren Eric and Artie Worthan, Lee Webb, Alisa Sedacca, Brad Turner, Stephanie Turner Lee, great grandchild William Graham Worthan. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elk’s Aid More Children’s Home. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday December 5 at the funeral home.
