Mrs. Nadia D. Hasty, age 86, of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, November 30th. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Tillman United Methodist Church in Smyrna with Rev. Dawn Britt officiating. Interment will be at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Mrs. Hasty graduated from Memminger High School. She retired from the NAS Atlanta. She had been a member of Tillman United Methodist Church since 1965. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Raymond Hasty. Surviving are son, Stuart (Carol) Hasty of Mableton; 2 daughters, Diana (Bryan) Blair of Macon, Ellen (Lawton) Maner of Hampton, SC; sister, Trenholm (Al) Wells; brother, Charles (Ann) Dawson; 7 grandchildren, Christin Williams, Heather (Ben) Rose, Jessie Hasty, Catherine (Shelton) Culpepper, Wyman Maner; great grandchildren, Courtni, Megan, Carley, Sarah Catherine. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tillman United Methodist Church, 940 Concord Rd., Smyrna, GA 30080. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna.
