Mr. Raymond L. Hamilton, 63, of Jasper passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Chaplain David LaGrand officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hamilton was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed antique cars. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Marie Hamilton of Jasper; children, Kenneth Hamilton and Joshua (D’Anne) Hamilton both of Canton; brothers, Waymon D. Hamilton of Canton and Robert A. Hamilton of Marietta; and grandchild, Rylee Hamilton. Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice.
