Please do not cherry pick the verses of the Holy Quran to make it look like as if Islam or the Holy Quran is the reason why Muslims act like savages. There are many examples of war verses in the Bible, such as Deuteronomy 20:10-17: “When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. … If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. …”
The only reason I felt the need to write in response to Mr. Thomas’s article is because he used the verse of the Holy Quran out of context. Please promote peace.
Muslims, Christians and Jews all came from the same God. Those among Muslims or any other faith who create disorder on the earth should be punished, but it does not mean that their faith is to be blamed for it. Good and bad people are in every religion.

The true followers of Muhammad ﷺ are instructed to show fortitude if their religious feelings are hurt by others:
Aal-e-`Imran Chapter 3 : Verse 187
"... you shall surely hear many hurtful things from those who were given the Book before you and from those who set up equals to God. But if you show fortitude and act righteously, that indeed is a matter of strong determination."
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are going to Muslims and, yes, they are being persecuted for spreading the truth about Islam.

The leaders of Islam are not able to do that and maintain their stranglehold on their followers.
So their solution is to try to drag the entire world back into their medieval society by strict interpretation of the Quran.
The only thing that most Muslims are guilty of is listening to closely to their backward thinking ayatollahs and mullahs.
I love America. I read Quran and I know there meaning and commentary. Islam means "Peace". A person who calls himself/herself Muslim and is not peaceful is not practicing his/her religion. Those Muslims who kill in the name of Islam have nothing to do with Islam. I can say this because I am a Muslim and I know my religion.
