Not optimal? Isn’t that just a little detached and flip? Isn’t it a bit out of keeping with the situation? One of the deceased’s mothers thinks so, anyway: “My son is not very optimal — he is also very dead,” Pat Smith told a British paper.
What’s not optimal is the relatives of the four dead not getting answers.
And can you imagine if Romney had said what Obama said? There’d be so many outraged stories, they’d need
binders to keep them all in.

What could he say? It was a yes or no question and he did not choose the word optimal. It is disengenuous to take things out of context like that, isn't it?
