Louise Rice Guyton, 89, a native of Cartersville, GA and long time resident of Acworth and St. Simons Island, Ga., passed away December 1, 2011. Mrs. Guyton was the daughter of the late Elmon S. and Gladys King Rice of Cartersville. Mrs. Guyton was preceded in death by her husband, of 69 years, Wofford O. Guyton. Mrs. Guyton is survived by one son David Lynn Guyton, Sr. (Cheryl), 3 grandchildren, David Guyton, Jr., Stephanie Swift, Clinton Hargrove (Barbara) and five great-grandchildren, Dylan Guyton, Griffin Hargrove, Bailey Hargrove, Peyton Hargrove and Katelyn Swift. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, GA, is honored to serve the family. 770-479-2131.
