Mrs. Martha Griffith age 95 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, March 13th. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, March 17th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. She was a charter member of the Audubon Forest United Methodist Church and currently a longtime member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime resident of Atlanta and graduated from Girls High School. She was a Homemaker. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and was blessed with many wonderful friendships. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, James W. “Bill” Griffith. Surviving are: Son Gene (Melissa) Griffith of Johns Creek, GA, Daughter, Glenda (Ralph) Berryhill of Lakeland, GA, Sister-in-law Sarah Cook of Douglasville, 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.
