Johnathan Donald Anthony, Jekari Oshay Strozier, Antonio Pass and Kemonaa Deandre Bonds have all been charged with murder, aggravated assault and felony street gang activity in connection to the June 30 death of Joshua Chellew in what police believe was a gang-related attack. The four, all from Mableton except for Strozier — an Austell resident — are accused of punching, hitting and kicking Chellew as he attempted to escape by backing into Mableton Parkway.
Chellew was knocked to the ground and incapacitated, and left in the middle of the roadway where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
According to witness statements, all of the accused still were at the scene at the time the victim was hit by a car. Witnesses at the scene said none of the four attempted to aid Chellew or stop the approaching vehicle.
The warrant states the four men are documented members of Re-Up — a street gang.
