The Cobb Chamber will host its second Health Care Summit on Aug. 18 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Presented by WellStar, the 2014 Summit features a line-up of speakers representing the health care, insurance and pharmaceutical industries, providing business owners and HR professionals valuable insight into what Health Care Reform means for their organizations.
Designed as an interactive and informative experience, Summit attendees will be able to interact with speakers during the live discussion using audience response systems. Roundtable discussions will also be led by trained facilitators, providing structured opportunities for strategic and tactical idea-sharing. These discussions allow attendees to depart the Summit with a clear action plan relating to requirements under the new law, options to address these requirements and a prioritized, company-specific action plan for 2015.
Keynote speakers and panelists will include: Reynold Jennings, president and CEO of WellStar; Blair Childs, senior vice president of Premier Inc.; Dr. Laura Beaty of Alliance Primary Care; Matt Portch, team leader at Pfizer Inc.; Morgan Kendrick, president of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia; and John Price, president of Aetna Georgia.
