Cobb police investigate 2 recent armed robberies

AUSTELL — Cobb County police are investigating an armed robbery on Six Flags Drive that occurred last Friday night.

Two people entered Cyndy’s Hair Braiding and demanded money.

Police describe both suspects as black men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts with gloves. Each man had his face covered and was armed with a chrome semi-automatic handgun.

Another Austell business was robbed Saturday morning on Mulkey Road.

According to the Cobb County Police, an employee was about to enter the locked lobby of the Regions bank when the suspect approached with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

This suspect is described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall black man, approximately 165 pounds, in his early 30s.

He was last seen wearing a Titleist brand baseball cap, a light blue, long -leeved, button-down shirt and dark pants.
