Civil War symposium at KSU to feature several historians

The Civil War Center at Kennesaw State University will present the Civil War Symposium “1864: The Western Theater,” on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Civil War historians William C. Davis, Richard McMurry, Jim Ogden, Craig Symonds and Steve Woodworth will be at the symposium. On Friday at 6 p.m., attendees can enjoy hors d’oeuvres while listening to the 97th Regimental String Band perform period music. Both events are free.

Both events will take place at the KSU Center at 3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw.
