Kirkwood Presbyterian Church will begin holy week services on Sunday with a Palm Sunday service at 10:30 a.m.

On Palm Sunday, the church will welcome its confirmation class into full membership and honor the class at a church-wide reception on the front lawn after the service.

During Maundy Thursday on April 17, Kirkwood will have a dinner and a Tenebrae service starting at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Easter Sunday will begin with a time for meditation and silent prayer in the sanctuary from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. The traditional Easter service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Worshippers are invited to bring flowers to help decorate the cross on the church’s front lawn.

Kirkwood is at 618 Acworth-Due West Road in west Cobb. For more information, visit or contact
