Mrs. Judy Diane Caylor, age 64, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, March 18. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, March 21 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Mrs. Caylor attended Mary’s Memorial Baptist Church. She was a 25 year survivor of breast cancer and was a volunteer with Reach to Recovery with American Cancer Society. She was a loving wife, mother and “Mammy”. Mrs. Caylor was preceded in death by her mother, Marcelle Burgess and granddaughters Emily Diane and Molly Jane Caylor. She is survived by her husband Lamar Caylor, father Paul Perry Burgess of Fairmount, sons Dr. Marc (Heather) Caylor of Kennesaw, Evan (Rebecca) Caylor of Smyrna, brother Paul (Amy) Burgess, Jr. of Rome, sisters Paula (Danny) Taylor of Adairsville, Joy (Jim) Dodd of Fairmount, Pam (Steven) McGlamery of Fairmount, grandchildren Miranda, Benjamin and Charlotte Caylor. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research 1111 Stewart Avenue Bethpage, NY 11714 1-866-789-1000 www.lustgarten.org. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Thursday, March 20 at the funeral home.
