Lorane Howard Camp, 82, of Kennesaw, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Kennestone Hospital. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 11am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Robert Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton beginning at 1:30 pm. Mr. Camp was a Navy Veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired, after many years of employment as a printer, from the Chattanooga Free Press. He was of the Baptist Faith. Those who survive Mr. Camp are his Wife, Stella Camp of Kennesaw; Sons, Timothy (Kim) Guin of Chattanooga, Steve (Laquada) Camp of Higdon, AL and Danny (Angie) Camp of Kennesaw; Grandchildren, Daniel, Amanda, Emily, Hannah, Sam, Sara, and Nick; Great Grandchild, Jack. The Family will receive Friends from 10am until 11am on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Rd Smyrna, GA 33080-3862 in memory of Howard Camp.
