Chef Luc Beaudet, owner of Douceur de France, demonstrated how to make strawberry shortcake to Marietta Magnolia Garden Club members in Douceur’s demonstration room and private banquet facility during their monthly luncheon meeting recently.

The garden club was established in 2004 and is celebrating its 20th year.

Beaudet entertained the ladies with his French wit, beautiful accent and his culinary expertise. The group enjoyed the lunch and the strawberry shortcake. Garden Club members ordered off the 50 item lunch menu and Beaudet prepared the strawberry shortcake for all 30 members in attendance.

The current Officers of Marietta Magnolia Garden Club are Eleanor Knox, Melissa Worley, Leigh Ann Rapp, Nancy Stowell and Ginny Northcutt.
