The chancel choir of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church will present the cantata “Bethlehem’s Child” at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. The children’s choir and Kirkwood Singers youth choir will also participate.
“Bethlehem’s Child tells the story of Christmas, God becoming human,” said Kirkwood music director Heidi Hanz. “The newborn infant is the lead character in this cantata, which relays the story of redemption, love and grace.”

Marietta Players/Young Actors Playhouse in Marietta presents two holiday performances.
Marietta Players presents “A Christmas Carol” through Dec. 22, an original musical based off the legendary Charles Dickens ghost story with the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge.
Tickets for adults are $22 and children/seniors are $18.
The Young Actors Playhouse presents “Snow Princess” on Saturday and Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. where a kingdom seeks to save a Snow Princess in danger of melting.
Tickets for adults cost $10 and tickets for children cost $7.
