Black ‘leaders’ don’t care about Trayvon

DEAR EDITOR:

As I watched the media coverage of various protests around the county protesting the verdict that set George Zimmerman free, it occurred to me, as I am sure it did to many other black adults, that those to whom our young people are listening, (Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Samir Shabazz, Ben Williams, Eric Holder, and even President Obama) are all liars. None of them care about Trayvon Martin, or care about the truth of what happened that awful night.

They carry signs proclaiming “Justice for Trayvon,” when the last thing in this world they truly want is justice. If so, they would be carrying signs demanding justice for Antonio West, the 13-month old baby shot and killed by a black youth in Glynn County, or for Autumn Pasquale, a 12-year old white girl beat to death and stuffed in a trash can, by two black youths 15 and 17 years of age, in Clayton, N.J., last October, or Darrell Green, a 17-year old black youth shot to death because he took the high road and refused to join a gang.

No! I’m sorry but their agenda is not justice. Their agenda is to keep racial strife stirred to a fever pitch. Oh, not all for the same reasons. But their reasons all have one thing in common. That one thing is trying to get all they can out of it for themselves. Not for Trayvon, not for his family, nor any such noble ideal as Justice, but for their own selfish desires.

The President and Attorney General are buying votes from those black citizens they are able to delude while keeping the limelight off the economy, the AHC mandate, Benghazi, the IRS scandals, the drones, etc., Meanwhile, Sharpton, Jackson, the Black Panthers , et al, are trying to keep racial tension as high as possible. Only in an atmosphere of hate can these people survive.

We are teaching a new generation of young people to hate and Dr. King’s dream will have to wait another generation to see fruition, unless, of course, another bunch of madmen teach hate to the next generation too.

Best editor letter, to the point, well said. Wish the men and women of racial hate could read this, and understand that spreading hate and fear only divides this naion more and more. MDJ please let this be the last of Zimmerman/Martin. It was a tragedy. Will it happen again? Yes. Somewhere, and the same people will be there to exploite the hate and fear among the followers.

Obama and his sketchy justice dept head, Holder, have done more harm to race relations in this country in just a few years, but they want it this way. Keeping people angry is not only the way they keep their jobs, it's the way they learned how to "community organize." Look up the history of this practice, and you'll see Saul Alinsky learned it at the heals of gangsters in Chicago. What a horrendous example of leadership -- never challenging people to a higher calling, always stirring up their baser, animalistic, self-serving instincts.
