Cobb County Police are investigating an armed robbery at the CVS Pharmacy at 800 East-West Connector in Austell on Monday just after 9 p.m.

According to investigators with the robbery squad, two men walked in the pharmacy and approached a female employee and demanded cash. While the victim opened the cash register and began removing the money, the second of the two suspects stood near the front door acting as a lookout.

After receiving the money from the register, both suspects drove away in a silver sedan, which investigators believe was parked behind the business.

The first suspect is described as black and 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a thin build. He was thought to be in his late teens to mid 20s and was last seen wearing a gray bombardier-style winter hat with ear flaps. He also had on a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and faded blue jeans. He also wore dirty white or tan sneakers and a dark blue or black paisley patterned bandanna. He was armed with a pistol.

The second suspect was a thin black man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, also in his late teens to early 20s. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, which included his hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information that could assist investigators with this crime is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
