Willie Mae Beets, 96 of Marietta died Saturday December 2, 2011. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday December 5th at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, Acworth. Ms. Beets a Gordon County native lived most of her life in Cobb County. She owned and operated Beets Beauty Shop in the Elizabeth Community of Marietta in the 1960’s and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cherokee County. Survivors Daughter Peggy Beets Thompson, Cartersville and Son Ed Beets, Marietta. 4 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 Sunday at Collins Funeral Home, Acworth.
