An Atlanta man faces charges after allegedly leaving his home on Paces Run near Paces Mill Road in Cobb County and threatening to kill two men.

Peter Nicas reportedly pointed a long rifle at the men and said he was protecting the United States, according to the arrest warrant. Nicas also allegedly said that if the men cooperated with him, they would be OK.

Nicas was arrested on June 19 by the Cobb County Police Department. He was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, a felony, and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
