On Thursday, Cobb Police arrested Haven Howell at his home in Austell.

Police say Howell was involved in a domestic dispute when he grabbed a woman’s neck and dragged her by her hair into their house. According to the arrest warrant, Howell knowingly committed said crime in the presence of two children, a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. Howell faces three misdemeanor charges of third degree child cruelty and battery.

The Austell man’s body is covered in tattoos, one on his hand reading: “Love is pain.” Haven Howell lives on Sweetwater Street and remains in custody at the Cobb Jail.
