Bertha Sullivan of Augusta is accused of using a check that was linked to a closed bank account to pay for an almost $50,000 new truck in early July.

According to the warrant, Sullivan wrote a check July 1 to buy a 2013 Ford F-150 from the Wade Ford dealership in Smyrna for $47,673, but payment could not be made to the dealership because the account, linked to a Newnan bank, was inactive.

She is wanted on theft by deception and deposit account fraud charges. Her bond is set at $100,000.
