The Senior Wellness Center, 1150 Powder Springs Street in Marietta, will have “No Bones About It,” presented by WellStar, for adults age 55-plus Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon.

Osteoporosis is a serious disease of the bones causing bones to grow brittle and weak. As a result, bones can break from a minor fall, or even simple actions such as sneezing or bumping furniture, in serious cases. Seniors can learn how osteoporosis is diagnosed, what to do to prevent it and what to do if already diagnosed.

The event is free, but registration is required. Call (770) 528-5355.
