Obama blog  03/26/2008
Barack Obama is - or was - the candidate who wants to move us beyond race, the candidate who transcends race. But his decades-long membership in the church pastored by the inflammatory Rev. Jeremiah Wright, shows that Obama likely differs only in style, not in substance, from the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

VP Blog  03/11/2008
Now that Arizona U.S. Sen. John McCain has wrapped up the GOP presidential nomination, he must turn to the business of selecting a running mate. And who should that be? Is Hilton deal a good one?  12/04/2007
The Marietta City Council is expected Dec. 12 to vote to float $7 million in bonds with which to upgrade the Marietta Conference Center & Resort, which is showing its age. The 11-year old, 199-room facility is overdue for a makeover and has been a drain on city coffers since its opening.
