D.A. King

"This country belongs to everybody, not just to the American people" - Jose Galvez, an illegal alien protesting recent immigration and identity theft arrests at an Iowa meatpacking plant, as reported by an Iowa ABC -TV affiliate.

"We won't stop organizing until we achieve full rights for all undocumented people and ICE is shut down completely." - Ian Thompson, ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) organizer, at a Los Angeles rally and press conference opposing immigration enforcement, as reported by the Party for Socialism and Liberation, May 15.

Yes, the "ICE" mentioned above is the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, formerly known as the INS.

For years - nearly seven of them during a war on terror - Americans, who believe this is their country, have been demanding secure borders and an equal application of American laws. Even immigration, ID theft and employment laws.

For the amnesty-again, open-borders lobby, the all-too-rare enforcement actions for these crimes represent an intolerable setback.

Which brings up a new "coalition" here in Cobb whose members say is aimed at fighting "racism," "injustice" and which will strive to "spread acceptance, "harmony" and to promote "public safety."

It seems that these folks, most merely the usual suspects in the well-funded open borders/illegal alien lobby, are concerned with "civil liberties."

The groups (and their leaders) involved in this new coalition include the Nation of Islam (headed nationally by the Rev. Louis Farrakhan), the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (Gerardo E. "Jerry" Gonzalez), the New Order National Human Rights Organization (Gerald Rose), the Cobb Immigrant Alliance (Rich Pellegrino), the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (Mexican citizen and former Atlanta Mexican Consul General Teodoro Maus), the Cobb Southern Christian Leadership Conference (the Rev. Dwight Graves), the Family Life Restoration Center (Luther Washington Jr.) and according to an MDJ editorial, the National Council of La Raza (Janet Murguía).

For the readers who do not understand Spanish, a translation: The last group mentioned above translates as "The National Council of the Race."

The organizers are calling their little endeavor a "civil rights" organization and have named it the "Cobb United for Change Coalition."

Let me state the obvious for any reader who may not see what is coming: Media-starved, easily duped, self-appointed "leaders" in our community will soon find themselves howling in support of illegal aliens in the name of "civil rights."

The sickening comparison will be to the noble struggle for equality under the law endured by black Americans in their own country.

The new recruits will be trained to never use that inconvenient term "illegal." Instead, the focus will be on the ethnicity of the majority of illegal aliens.

They will become part of the treacherous socialist coalition demanding an end to the American rule of law.

They will strive to equate real (legal) immigrants and all Latinos with illegal aliens, hoping that we won't realize that legal immigrants do not require amnesty.

The goal is to create a climate of fear and division in Cobb and Georgia while pushing for an end to immigration enforcement and for amnesty - again.

The mindless mantra of "justice" for and "acceptance" of wage thieves stealing the American Dream will be "civil rights for 'undocumented' Latinos." You won't hear much from this crowd about illegal employers. It's all about skin color. Yuck.

The fact that by definition civil rights in America are the non-political rights guaranteed to United States citizens by the 13th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution and by acts of Congress will not be a part of their mindless talking points.

There is no civil right - or human right - to be an illegal alien in the United States.

A clue to the agenda of "change": A part of a recent press statement - unwittingly proving that enforcement works - from Jerry Gonzalez of the Atlanta-based nonprofit Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials on its Website (www.GALEO.org) attacking state Sen. Chip Rogers (R-north Cobb), Cobb Chairman Sam Olens and Cobb Sheriff Neil Warren: "Public safety is being jeopardized by local policy makers … we need comprehensive immigration reform … Cobb County Sheriff must sever its relationship with ICE for the sake of enhancing public safety for all in Cobb County."

Sound familiar?

Sound like change you can believe in?

Thank you D.A.! I am completely baffled by Gerald Rose & his New Order Group blindly getting in bed w/ the open borders lobby! Can't he see that they are merely using him to help achieve their goal? He needs to understand that the "open borders" crew are here to insure jobs to illegals , BEFORE his legal brothers! Gerald,.... smell the coffee beans!

D.A. King hits it on the head again. Thank goodness for people who tell the truth on behalf of the American people. How shameful of the Jerrys of the world to try to use black Americans for their dispicable goals. No one I know ever thought Pelligrino was playing with a full deck anyway, but what excuse do the others have for an alliance with the same people who are damaging the wages of our own workers? If the enforcement continues after the elections, we will begin to get our country back. In today's USA, that is a big IF. Woe to any politician who is still dreaming of another amnesty. That means all politicians.

I am amazed that Gonzalez can find people to form a coalition with. I have been to his Website. Let's just say that I would never let the man in my house. I agree with Mr. King - YUCK. And the others too. Who knew there even was a Nation of Islam in Cobb county? It took Pelligrino, a has been Mexican 'diplomat' and Gonzalez to find it! At least we now have a program and know who the players are. More from Mr. King soon I hope.

No benefits for illegals. Ship them back from where they came from or arrest them and make them work for government for about 10 years while they go through the naturalization process. Alot of roads or other projects could get doen that way. That would be legal , cheap labor. If they didn;t like that work, maybe they will consider looking elsewhere to put down their squatters rights.
Jeffersonian says -
Yeah. And We, The American People, who are tired of supporting every third world leech, criminal, and socialist scumbag, who manages to sneak across the border, will not stop organizing until the laws of this country are enforced and these stinking illegals are arrested and deported. In virtually every state in the union the people are passing laws, against the wishes of the establishment, forcing local municipalities to enforce immigration laws. If overturned by the activist courts, they simply try again. We will not be denied our country. Live Free Or Die.

To me, these statements sound like a declaration of war on the US. Of course, Mexico has had an unspoken war going on for years. They cannot seem to understand the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and think the border states and some beyond still belong to them. Mexico is a vile, violent and corrupt country. Just today, they are throwing a tantrum because we don't want to hand over $1.4 billion without s few strings. Do they not think moneylenders should have a say in where the cash goes? I wish our leaders had some sense and would use those funds for a double-bordered wired fence and patrolled by our armed military. Bet that would take care of the drugs and human trafficing. That money is destined to go into the pockets of the drug dealers who will share it with the government. I see no difference. The anti-American organizations like La Raza need to be policed. We need an entity who would stand up for law-abiding Americans and the hell with the rest. Oh, yes. It could be called our government!
Roger says -
DA, why don't you run for office - say Cobb Commisssion chairman. The real voters will vote for you.
A.S. C. says -
"The National Council of the Race." ??? Uhh, yeah, that's not racist. Imagine Jerry Gonzalez and Co. if Mike Norman put something like that on a t-shirt! The hypocrisy is too much to take! Does the Jerry Gonzalez,GALEO connection to Nation of Islam mean the whole ADL fling is over? Or is Bill Nigut willing to stay with the open borders crowd and attack rule of law Americans no matter what? Yo Nigut! Is the National Council of the Race 'hatespeech' when a Latino group uses it? We should form an organization for Americans. Wait- D.A. King already did! THANKS D.A.!

These (ICE) sweeps are a provision enacted in the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli bill, when the first AMNESTY became law. Since then an invasion has taken place, with estimates of between 15 to 38 million aliens illegally settling here. Ted Kennedy promised no more AMNESTIES, but American fell in to a false state of trusting our politicians who have tried several times to bring us another abomination immigration law. We have seen very limited arrest and imprisonment from the aftermath of (ICE) raids. Pariah employers in corporate farms and general businesses, have not seen the interior walls of prison. Obviously we must relieve America of criminal aliens, but also anybody who flaunts the (IRCA) law. We must insist Democrats endorse the Federal SAVE ACT(H.R.4088), by phoning (2022243121) There leaders are keeping it dormant, waiting for the new presidents AMNESTY. Except that on its enactment millions more will pour across our border. The millions here already will be dwarfed in comparison to the next onslaughts, coming from third world countries.

America FABRICATED, POLISHED, and SOLD its image of the land of milk and honey. America also advertised that all you needed to be part of this land was hard work, well guess what?!! People work hard to get here (illegally or not). I completely believe in the US’ right to make its laws and ENFORCE its laws…HOWEVER they must deal with the consequences of the lies they fed to the world. They cannot be so inhumane and irrational as to say that the people who came here star-struck by THEIR lies are completely at fault. While the idea of America belonging to everyone is technically wrong and yes there are plenty who try to take advantage, that idea is also completely understandable. Its so understandable because it’s the idea that Americans gave the world for over 100 years. p.s. ICE = Witch Hunt! = Report the Communists!

Open Borders lobbys suggest a change, how upsetting is that. The American People what change too. We want change back in our pockets. I'm talking about the $329 Billion dollars a year, we spend on the illegal alien invaders. Who are these Open Border Lobbiest? (GALEO.org) Yes DA, I agree with Roger, run for office and you will win. The illegals must be deported, yesterday. NO AMNESTY EVER!!!!!
Billy says -
DA King~ I'll vote for you. Deport all illegal aliens back to "their" own countries, Mexico, Spain, Japan, Cuba, Canada... etc....I'm not a racist, just a normal tax paying American. Take away the job market~ No Government Benifits Attrition through Enforcement= Self Deportation No Amnesty.......
Mrs.Williams says -
Thank You Mr.King for fighting for ALL Americans. This is an issue that gets under my skin. I welcome anyone to our country but do it the right way.
Emery says -
So let me see if I got this right. If you do anything you want, go anywhere you want, live anywhere you want, then you are free from persecution and injustice? Suppose I go down to Mexico and try that? Do you think they will shoot me just like they did that Marine on leave last week at 4 in the morning? Or I have a better idea - go try that in China, or Cuba, or Venezuela or anywhere really. No country worth it salt is going to put up with that nonsense. 4-5 million illegal aliens pouring across our border every year amounts to an invasion and anarchy. We turn back 1.2 million a year. The rest are here stealing jobs and ruining America. 12 Americans get killed everyday and you want to talk about justice and hate crimes? What do call raping a 16 year old girl as a gang initiation? How many drunk illegal drivers are going to kill before we act? If we do not stop it now - it will only get worse. We have the right to defend our country and our liberty and our way of life. Illegal aliens are here to steal America and our freedom - not be part of it. Nobody has the right to do that. Build a fence, man it with the military and deport everybody who does not belong here.
Bernie says -
Thank you, D.A. King for reporting the news truthfully. The liberal press in this country is really trying to do a number on the American people. According to them, if you want our immigration laws enforced, then you are labeled a racist. I'm sick and tired of all these put-downs because we want our laws enforced. Mexico needs to take care of its own people and stop encouraging them to cross the border illegally. Keep up the good work and don't give up. We need people like you to stand up for Americans. Thanks again!!
april says -
They are misusing the purpose of the civil rights. I'm insulted, tired and discussed from the illegality. And by the way I'm African American and I speak on behalf of the other African American who are against illegal immigration!

It is best to nip this in the bud right away. We did in Prince William County VA. The illegal aliens are leaving, ESOL enrollment is down in our county and for some strange reason rose in the next county over. Our rule of law resolution is working, less crowding at the local stores, less cars on the road and a decrease in crime as well. Do a Google search on Prince William County rule of law resolution and see for yourself how citizens can take back their county and neighborhoods. La Raza and Mexicans without borders are here as well claiming the resolution is racist, but their voices are fading as people leave the county that do not belong in the US legally.
Rich Pellegrino says -
Change is not only coming but it is here. Cobb County is on alert. There is now a People's Coalition which will see that no longer will the politics and rhetoric of hate and division be tolerated in Cobb County, and no longer will racism and prejudice against anyone be tolerated here, including against the undocumented immigrants whom you, I and everyone reading this invited here and benefited from, just as we benefited from the slaves before them, --whether in the courts, in the jail, in the police departments,in the schools, on the streets, in the County Commission chambers, or in the State Legislature. If white-identified people feel abused and discriminated, including Mr. King, by our Coalition's actions or statements then they are welcome to participate and seek redress just like any Cobb resident--but not at the expense of any group or by putting down any group of our neighbors. We love our neighbors and anything else is hate; we are motivated by love and unity for all. If you want "amnesty" and "forgiveness" and to be healed of hate and prejudice, we will provide vehicles for that healing and for that amnesty. If you do not, then you will be marginalizing yourselves--and that goes for all elected and appointed officials. We have received a firm mandate from the community and from On High ,and will not back down. It is indeed a new day in Cobb County. Be alerted.--Rich Pellegrino, a recovering immigrant
mk says -
Rich, Sounds like you've had a really bad day... better go have a stiff drink & re-think those threats. This is a country of laws, my friend... you can't just make them up as you go.
Cali Girl says -
Healed of hate? I really don't have any hate for the immigrant. Mr. Pellegrino, if you wish to sit in a circle, holding hands, with all your "love and unity" and wear a flower in your hair - please feel free to do so. You don't seem able to differentiate between those who break our laws and those who have received permission to be here. It is not a God given right for everyone on the planet to immigrate here and you will not guilt me into thinking otherwise. If you choose to, help them on your own and in your own way. But please, don't expect to use or advocate for use of any more of our tax dollars - for amnesty or rights for those here illegally. We may have benefited in the past from immigration and they may have been "invited" by a limited few but, because of the sheer numbers, the doors are being blown off our economy, our infrastructure (check the water resource problems and deficit in CA), our healthcare and education and other problems from huge levels of unchecked population growth. Clearly, we are not receiving the benefits we once were. I don't expect to change your mind but I would at least like for you to try advocating only for those who have bothered to come here legally and are not breaking our laws.
American By Birth: says -
Hey Rich...why dont you give your job to one of those illegals who is "only here for a better life"?... or better yet, go to your church and pray to God to forgive you for being a TRAITOR to America and its CITIZENS...you and yours will fail... Americans fought and died to make this country what it is, and we be willing to fight and die again to keep it that way..."the right to bear arms against all enemies FOREIGN OR DOMESTIC...
TC Ft. Lauderdale says -
I fail to see any of the current Prez candidates that coming close to D.A.'s position, or, for that matter, the position of the overwhelming majority of the American people. However, in their fanatical search for the Hispanic vote, they have leapfrogged the reality of the conservative AMERICAN voter, who simply wants the current immigration law enforced, and wants to avoid educating, healing and supporting anyone who "shows up."
Darcy says -
WOW! I heard this Pelligrino guy was nuts, but now I see for myself!
Irish Immigrant says -
You conservative bozo's must be pissed that MCain is your nominee. Makes me chuckle.... Good thing you don't care that I'm an immigrant. Guess its because I'm white.
Noillegals says -
Pellegrino paints a false picture of Cobb. I have lived here all my life and have never considered Cobb residents to be of the character he and the others in this new coalition portrays us to be. I applaud Chip Rogers, Sam Olens and Sheriff Warren for their dedication and hard work for Cobb County. Please keep it up. Let the citizens of Cobb put you on notice Pellegrino, you do not scare us and we will continue to fight to have our laws enforced!
Noillegals says -
Thank you D.A. King!
Richard Bell says -
D.A. King gives Cobb a bad name. If he hates it here so much, then move!! I am sure we can take a collection to pay for your gas. Used your energy on good things, not on the propaganda you spread!! I am a white and proud cobb countian!! Give peace a change.
