  • Organizers and participants of the upcoming Roasted: A Celebrity ‘Food Fight,’ Fundraiser gathered at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre recently to finalize plans for this year’s event that will benefit the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation and The Strand. Gathering with cooking utensil props include, from left: Hillary Gallagher, program director for the culinary arts department at Chattahoochee Tech; Tim Lee, chairman of the Cobb County Commissioners; Faye DiMassimo (kneeling), director of Cobb County Dept. of Transportation and vice chair of the Earl Smith Strand Theatre board of trustees; Johnnie Gabriel, of Gabriel’s Restaurant and Baker, who will serve as emcee of the event; Dr. Ron Newcomb, president of Chattahoochee Tech; and Kim Gresh of S.A. White Oil Co. and vice chair of the Earl Smith Strand Theatre board of trustees.
