Why ca't all you Libs in Cobb admit that you are against enforcement and that it works at stopping illegal immigration? King has shown - and so has the media, but grudgingly - that illegal aliens leave in droves when th elaw is enforced. The attrition trough enforcement idea works very well. An article in today's AJC online describes a significant problem involving the anti immigration hysteria created by legislation in GA. It seems that medical professionals are having a great deal of trouble renewing their licenses because of the new requirements to prove their citizenship. So far 28,000 licenses have been renewed in GA, not one undocumented person has been found.

There has been as much as a 10 day delay in the renewal process caused by the legislation. The delay is caused by under-staffing at the licensing agency.

I have read in previous reports that the same problem exists in other licensing departments. Is this the smaller government which the GOP was referring to?

Hard line immigration senators such as Lindsey Graham are in discussions with Charles Schummer, D, NY to write a bill that would support creating a path to citizenship for the undocumented.

Talking heads such as Sean Hannity and Charles Krauthammer have softened their former hard line approach to immigration. Rupert Murdock has also re-evaluated his over the top opinions on immigration.

It's funny what two losses in presidential elections will do for the shallow thinkers.
